Program Description
The Community Homebuying Assistance Program (CHAP) is designed to assist Flagstaff, AZ first time homebuyers by offering a second loan, with no payments and 0% interest, of up to $15,000. This loan can be used for covering the down payment and closing costs, and can only be used for properties located within the city limits of Flagstaff. The program uses FHA loan limits, and the borrower must contribute at least 1% of the purchase price or $2,000, whichever is greater.
